AGARTALA, Dec 16 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has not repeated the same mistake which he did in the last Assembly when Sudip Barman sought reason from him behind his Anti-Nationalist comment about ‘India’s Prime Minister’s Dadagiri’ before the foreign delegates. This time, keeping the election in mind the ruling party people are avoiding all kinds of troubles and obduracy so that Manik Sarkar’s country-wide effigy burning picture would not repeat. After opposition raised questions over the insult of Martyr Shambhu Satmura & Chittarnajn Debbarma on the first day of the Assembly Winter Session, where 1920’s Communist Revolutionary Fidel Castro although was remembered and 2 minutes of silence was dedicated to him.

But at the same time the 2 brave sons of Tripura Shambhu Satmura & Chittarnajn Debbarma, who dedicated their lives for motherland and who were killed mercilessly by Pakistani Militants not even before a month, were fully ignored in the Assembly. Apart from Fidel Castro; Joylalita Jayaram and Kanpur train accident victims were also remembered and in total 6 minutes were dedicated for them, but nobody bothered to remember the 2 brave soldiers of India. As soon as the issue raised, BJP here held massive protest also conducted a ‘Jangi-Michil’ calling Manik Sarkar as ‘Anti-Nationalist’ for that activity on Thursday afternoon.

BJP also claimed earlier that Manik Sarkar expressed his ‘doubt’ about the soldiers' entitle as ‘Martyr’. Apart from that whereas CM attended other similar other funeral occasions, but he didn’t attend any of the two soldier’s funeral process on the same day.

Most importantly, one of his cabinet Minister Naresh Jamatia in his visit at Martyr Chittaranjan Debbarma’s home during his funeral process, he standing before the coffin of the Martyr gave Red-Salute to him. Criticism also highly raised for next 48 hrs against the CPI-M Minister’s senseless activity.

After all these incidents, the ruling party has not taken any risk and remembered Martyr Shambhu Satmura & Martyr Chittaranjan Debbarma before the second day of Assembly begins.

But unfortunately, again with a mistake on Friday itself, the Assembly Speaker Ramendra Ch. Debnath uttered a wrong address of Chittaranjan Debbarma and later he corrected it.
