AGARTALA, Dec 14 (TIWN): CPI-M with much drumbeat has started to talk about the 7th Pay Commission, seeing other states implementing the 7th Pay Commission in next budget sessions. Whereas Tripura Govt didn’t implement 6th Pay Commission, it has started to talk about 7th pay Commission sighting false examples of other state’s non-implementation of it including West Bengal. Keeping the Assembly Winter Session in mind, a group of Pensioners Association, backed by CPI-M party office released a balance information and announced about their activity to be held on Dec 18 in this regard. They raised many demands but for every issues they considered the Central Govt is Chief responsible.

Whereas no attempt taken by the state govt supporting 7th Pay Commission, the members claimed that Tripura Govt should implement the 7th pay commission with much modifications, slashing the bad sides of the pay commission proposed by Central govt.

In this regard a demand draft will be handed over to CM Manik Sarkar on Dec 18. However, question arises, with this hints what the CPI-M has meant? Will the Govt keeping eyes on Assembly Election increase the pay scale.

They further mentioned the gap between central and state is much at West Bengal also. However, West Bengal which was deprived under CPI-M rule for long 3 yrs, has is changing under the new govt.

Whereas they lied about the non-implementation of 7th pay Commission Assam Govt has already announced it.

Most importantly, the Uttar Pradesh cabinet on Tuesday approved the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission, which is likely to benefit more than 21 lakh state government employees, teachers and pensioners, an official said.

This was being done to take care of the state's expenses in the first four months of the coming year.

Assam, being NE State will implement from April, whereas the Tripura Govt said due to Northeastearn zone, the Govt can not implement the 7th pay commission.

The CPI-M backed association also gave hints about that with some  excuse the implementation to delayed as the Finance Secretary said fund crisis is there and due to the crisis its getting delayed, but the Govt has no desire to deprive the employees.

But surprisingly, BJP said that this was same secretary GSG Ayangar who said there is ‘No Fund Crisis’.
