AGARTALA, Dec 13 (TIWN): Police on Monday held raid in various spots under Lefunga with an attempt to destroy Ganja cultivation. But when they went to demolish a garden at Lefunga, a group of local people attacked on police with household used arms.

When in a huge group they held attack upon the police seeing no other option police escaped from the spot.

However, nothing to do by police as firing or any action is not allowed on ‘innocents’ & so under Tripura Communist govt locals would keep on preserving Ganja Cultivation like this.

At Sonamura Boxnagar area Ganja trees growing up like tea gardens but left without any action.
