AGARTALA, Dec 12 (TIWN): A group of businessmen placed deputation in West Police Station on Monday protesting against the increasing tortures upon the businessmen there.

The businessmen led by ‘Sakuntala Businessmen Committee’ also held mass protest before West Police Station.

According to them a businessmen was brutally beaten by some unknown goons, but no action has been taken so far.

As a result they placed deputation in the police station so that such illegal activities would stop soon.
