AGARTALA, Dec 11 (TIWN): Although the issue of ‘demonetization’ is now the target of all opposition parties, Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy said that it is because of demonetization that the stone-throwing at Kashmir has stopped, as they know if they throw stones then more stones will target them.
“As funding has been stopped there, so terrorists have downed their business there”, he said.
“Now children can go to school, now no firing is heard there at day time”, Roy added.
He was referring Tripura Law Secretary Datamohon Jamatia’s speech where he said that due to lack of balance of living and inequality terrorism emerges & Roy said, “Balance doesn’t mean to put the terrorist on you head, sharing tea/ coffee with them and let common people die”.
“Demonetization is a wise step taken by the govt of India, which has successfully prevented terrorism”, Roy said.
