SABROOM, Dec 2 (TIWN): An Administrative cum health camp was organized at Baishnabpur ADC Village under Sabroom Sub Division. All Sub Divisional level officers of line department were present in the Administrative camp.

The camp started at 10.00AM. The activities of various Line Department working under Sabroom Sub Division  were reviewed in details. The department was instructed to organise some IEC activities like as Street Drama on malaria awareness, health and sanitation etc. in consultation with SDM & health department officials.

PWD officials informed that maintenance work of various roads under Rupaichari  RD Block is in progress.

All maintenance work is done by the NBCC. Medical Officer of Baishnabpur and Rupaichari  PHC were also present. Over 150 people availed the facilities of free health check up. Doctors treated the attended people accordingly. After completion the free health checkup and tests, free medicines were provided among them. He also informed that 1st round DDT spraying has been done thoroughly in the area. He also informed that awareness about malaria should be done on regular basis.

Convergence meeting of Health department was conducted for the last month.  Officials of ARDD from TTAADC were also present in the review meeting. The department has submitted the convergence action plan to BDO.

Work will be started immediately. Officials from Agriculture & Horticulture department stated that convergence action plan in details will be submitted .There is a problem of drinking water in AWCs &  DWS officials were instructed to look into the matter.

Forest department officials also reported about the progress of the department. MLA Rita Kar,BAC, Chairman, Rupaichari RD Block requested that beneficiaries under various schemes should be selected after proper consultation with the political representative of BAC. SDM, Sabroom was also present in the review meeting. He gave a status report on digitization of ration card in his Sub-Division.

He requested all line department officials to complete work in time. All departments were requested to monitor the activities properly to ensure all implementation for the benefit of local tribal’s of Rupaichari RD Block. SDM  Sabroom visited many work sites-like IAY houses, Block building etc. Overall performance of the Block in respect of implementation of different schemes is good.

The Normal IAY House constructed during the year 2014-15 is good. Above many unemployed tribal youths were now self depended to open Xerox and computerized Photoshop stalls under Government schemes for their livelihood.
