AGARTALA, Oct 27 (TIWN): On the occasion of the 22nd Foundation day of Pranavanada Vidyamandir and 100 years completion of Bharat Sevashram Sangha a cultural programme was organized at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan on Thursday.
Pranavanada Vidyamandir & Bhrat Sevashram Sangha jointly organized the programme.
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar was present as the Chief guest of the programme.
V K Gupta, ONGC GM remained present as the special guest. As the special guest while delivering his speech Gupta advised the school students for try to be No-1 in every aspects.
“I tried to be No-1 in everything since my childhood, following my teacher’s advises. Whatever I’m today because I tried to be number 1 in everything either its sports, or study”, said Gupta.
After Gupta’s highly motivating speech Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar said, “India even after 70 years of independence suffering from various problems. In this situation becoming No-1 is a far dream. This country is much poor and 50 % children are suffering from mal-nutrition”.
Criticizing the central govt he said, India is not a country only for Hindus and with the mindset of the central govt India can never be No-1 in coming 1000 years also.
Students of Pranavanada Vidyamandir presented various dances. The beginning of the progamme got mass attention with the Nursery students patriotic dance performance.
