AGARTALA, Oct 14 (TIWN): The last of ‘Bisharjan’ (immersion) on Friday has been selected by the remaining clubs in Tripura, who are yet to do ‘Bisharjan’ of their Durga idols.
The last day has been prescribed by the Govt. as it’s Laxmi Puja on Saturday.
This year Durga Puja had begun on Oct 8 and the Dasami was done on Oct 11.
However, many clubs do not want to farewell Devi Durga on the day of Dashami, and thus it’s lingered till Laxmi puja.
Clubs have been geared up in Bisharjan, with high volume music across Agartala City.
The high-sound to be continued till midnight.
Police is however, guiding the clubs till their destination at various Dashami-Ghats.
