BELONIA, Oct 7 (TIWN): District Level Quarterly Immunization Review Meeting was held at the Chamber of CMO South Tripura. District Social Welfare officer and other health officials were also present in the meeting.

Complete immunization of a child is an important step towards the good health status of the child; hence Immunization has been kept as a major strategy. The complete Immunization in South Tripura is going well  as reported from independent surveys.

To enhance Immunization Coverage, weekly basis review meeting are organized as an essential component of Routine Immunization. It is a package of service delivered to the community which involves Maternal, Child and Nutritional components. Mobility support is being provided by different agencies to the districts for vaccine and logistics supply to the session site. This will be smoothened for mobility support as alternative vaccine delivery.

CMO also stress upon ensuring accurate record keeping / monitoring with improved supervision and Availability of various Formats
