BELONIA, Oct 5 (TIWN): Golden jubilee celebration of the Abhojynagar Higher Secondary School. The programme started from 4th Oct and to be ended on 5th Oct. Minister Ratan Bhowmik inaugurated Golden Jubilee Program.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister   lauded the school authorities for achieving this historic milestone and expressed his deep appreciation to, founder of the School, who responded to the educational need of the society at that point of time.

Appealing to teachers to consider teaching as a mission and not as a profession the minister also pointed out that teaching is not only to impart quality education but also to groom and shape up the minds of the students so that they can excel in their studies, adding that teaching is also to prepare the students to take up greater responsibilities for progressive and productive career.

During the celebrations, quiz, debate, food fest, art exhibition, inter school science exhibition, school concert, musical evening, varieties show and sports and games will be organized. During two days program various cultural program will also staged in the evening.
