KAMALPUR, Oct 4 (TIWN): The Puja preparations got at the last minute here at Kamalpur. The organizers got busy in last minute preparation. The artists also got busy with finishing touch to the marquees and idols.
The big budget Puja like those of Youth Recreation Corner or Apanjan Club got at their last stage. Other prominent organizers like LaxmiNarayan Club of Fulchari or Robust Club of Harerkhola also took up their pace.
The organizers expressed that; the idols would be placed in the marquees within a day or two. People could easily avail the joy of viewing the idols and marquees from the evening of Maha Sasthi.
In the sub-divisional town of Kamalpur the biggest Puja of 6, 00, 000 rupees of budget got organized by Youth Recreation Corner as claimed the Secretary Uttam kumar Bhowmik.
Another Puja of attractions, Apanjan Club arranged their celebrations with an estimated budget of almost 4, 00, 000 rupees as informed the Joint Secretary Supriyo Bhatatcharjee.
The budget of other clubs like Laxmi Narayan Club or Robust Club remained within the limit of 3, 50, 000 rupees.
However, as the celebrations solely remained dependant on the employees and few businessmen hence the collection not yet reached the desired mark explained the organizers.
Moreover, the contractors would probably not get their pending bills before the Puja and this also intensified the problem.
However, the celebration would not remain confined to those entire big budget Pujas only.
Many small budget and community Pujas remained the main attraction of the festivity here in this sub-division.
