AGARTALA, Oct 3 (TIWN): Ahead of Dugra Puja Tripura Power Dept. is showing new colours, as frequent load shedding day long power cut are gripping the whole state.
Just after Manik Dey claimed high about Tripura to become a “Load-shedding-free state”, as Tripura’s plants to generate powers in full swing within few months-----after few hours on Saturday night, Manik Dey received an utter shock when Opposition party hit his residence at midnight following the massive sufferings of people at IGM Hospital, when suddenly power cut disrupted the full service there.
But to reach the lameduck Minister has become now a days very tough, as whenever trying to contact Minister is unable to talk much, saying about his important meeting. On Sunday also, when TIWN called the busy minister said like this.
But CPI-M Ministers’ busy schedules have failed to brought any revolution as they are much focused to keep the Lenin, French revolution alive in Tripura.
The power Dept. has no urgency to pay the unpending bills to state-base various plants.
From last 6 months TSECL to get Rs. About 23 crores from Govt. dept. But the Power Minister has no intention to fill the departmental loss by gathering the amount fast from govt depts, resulting more pending bills to the Plants.
Due to TSECL’s negligence the NEEPCO is lying dead for more than 4 months & the scenario to be continued till December. But Power Minister although busy in various party programmes, blood donation camps clamouring about various developments to bring, but in reality Power Dept. is one of the most deplorable dept in whole Tripura.
