AGARTALA, Sep 30 (TIWN): World Heart Day, which is being observed globally on Thursday (29 September) by doctors, experts, and civil societies—was also celebrated in Tripura & on Friday Assam Rifles organized a massive rally on this occasion.

As a part of Week-long drive for World Heart Day, Assam Rifles organized the rally.

Every year, World Heart Day is observed with a different theme. This year, the theme will be 'Light Your Heart, Empower Your Life'.

This initiative is to make people aware of the risk factors related to cardiac diseases, awareness of early detection, necessity of exercise, proper food habits and also the preventive measures that should be taken.
