AGARTALA, Sep 21 (TIWN): Mush hyped Northeast Business summit has received a major jolt as maximum invitees chosen to ignore the the programme. 3 Union Ministers (Nirmala Sitaraman, Nitin Gadkari, Jitendra Singh) and 7 Northeastern Chief Ministers avoided Manik Sarkar's flop show held in Pragna Bhavan on wednesday.

Since Modi Govt came to power, although one after one Central Ministers have been coming in Tripura to hold talks about various state issues, & also Modi Govt. is showing enough seriousness about Tripura’s development from Smart City to Southeast Asia gateway or border fencing issues, but they simply denied to waste time in attending Tripura Govt organized business summit drama after they knew Communist Govt.’s real motive behind such programmes, resulting a major flop programme at Pragna Bhawan.

Total 80 companies came in Tripura so far in 2 decades of CPI-M rule,  but as per Govt. record only 31 companies are now surviving. Tripura Govt. tired a lot in last minute preparation to fill the hall at Pragna Bhawan’s business summit & the invitation cards were distributed till night, govt. source said.

Whereas DoNER Minister Jitendra Singh had visited in Tripura & advised Manik Sarkar a lot to promote bamboo industries here, but seeing the negligence of Tripura Govt. he simply denied to attend in business summit on Wednesday although discussion-space was kept for Bamboo promotion too at Pragna Bhawan.

Moreover all the CMs apart from Nagaland has banned Tripura Chief Minister’s programme.

CPI-M govt. since 23 years did nothing for state’s connectivity. However, the 2 years of Modi Govt at Centre is boosting Tripura’s connectivity.

Now Manik Sarkar gets the opportunity to take the credit of BJP Govt’s activity & trying his best to give false implication of how Left front govt has been trying to bring revolution of Industry via connectivity as Sarkar already understood that he no more can stop industry progress-------- as connectivity is finally getting a new shape in Tripura under Modi Govt.

Giving a title of “Connect North East 2016”  it was said  that the project is to focus on development of roads, inland waterways, railways etc in the region, the emergence of a democratic Myanmar, improving ties with Bangladesh and South East Asia. However,  to make Tripura the gateway for Southeast Asia------ is actually a project of Modi Govt.

Understanding Manik Sarkar’s politics, & motive behind such a programme Central Govt. has rejected the programme to attend.

During the whole invitation letter it was said the programme is dedicated to “Make in India - Digital Connectivity” theme, but not a single word was dedicated to Modi Govt in that letter. This politics has been well understood by the Central Govt. & also by the Experts in IT profession, which has resulted in this Flop show at Pragna Bhawan.

Tripura’s red colored CPI-M Govt. only invited communist countries representatives as from Mayanmar, Russia like countries, but  they denied to invite the really developed countries as Japan, US. which is an enough example to show Manik Sarakr’s motives behind such summits.
