AGARTALA, Sep 13 (TIWN): Sanjiv Mittal, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India visited NIELIT Agartala, to attend the 11th meeting of the Project Review & Steering Group (PRSG) of the Project for “Setting up of National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Centre at Agartala”.

Dr. Rakesh Sarwal, Principal Secretary, Information Technology, Debapriya Bardhan,  Director,Information Technology, Prof. Sukumar Nandi, IIT Guwahati, Prof. Anjan Kumar Ghosh, Vice Chancellor, Tripura University, Prof. Arunoday Saha, Former Vice Chancellor, Tripura University& NIELIT officers from NIELIT Head Quarter and Agartala centre were present.

Anurag Mathur, Director In-charge of NIELIT Agartala presented technical and financial progress of the project.

During the programme, it was said that the official inauguration ceremony of NIELIT Agartala permanent campus will be held very shortly.
