KAMALPUR, April 30 (TIWN): In the last urban bodies election CPI-M got hold of the power of the Ambassa Municipal Corporation with many promises and dreams of happier and smoother future.
The newly elected body also promised to make Ambassa a utopia in every sector. But the ground reality here unearth something different saga. The authorities who promised of many development and reaching the summit virtually failed to gift the inhabitants a clear ground to stroll on.
Within the Municipal area, the Dashamighat field always remained to be a happy haunt for the people to have a leisurely stroll in the morning and in the evening. Many people also came to the field to have some physical exercises.
But the field got piled with wastes of the Municipal area. The stinking smell caused a dangerous experience to those who used to come here to have some fresh air into their lungs. Further, the heaps also caused visual pollution. But the authority failed to found any permanent remedy of it. Occasionally, the wastes got burnt adding to the amount of pollution.
Now, had the authority willing enough to remedy the same remained the question among the commoners here?
