KAILASHAHAR, April 29 (TIWN): Power outage across Kailashahar has turned lives miserable. Women blocked road on Monday with pitchers after not getting water for four days. Scattered protests are reported from across the subdivision. On Sunday, public in Kailashahar agitated seeking relief from powercut problems. Reportedly, Kailashahar’s major area is cut off power connectivity triggering resentment among the people leading them to block roads and stage protests in front of the power office. An agitated person said, “Last time when we talked to the power minister, he assured that our problems would be solved and by noon power would be returned but now it’s almost 36 hours, and the power connection is yet to be restored. This helpless situation amid scorching summer has forced us to protest.”
