PANISAGAR / DHARMANAGAR, April 24 (TIWN): Whereas the other parts of the state are suffering from extreme temperature, but in last two days, storm caused massive losses to the Northern part of the state.
Reportedly, atleast 4,000-4,500 thousand houses have been affected due to rain. However, no life loss has been reported.
Apart from houses, electrical posts, big plants, crop and vegetable fields were affected due to last few days’ rain.
As per the data, famers are under massive losses now.
The North Tripura was affected along with other Northeastern part of Tripura.
Due to big plants were rooted out from the soil, many houses were fully broken down.
North Tripura is reported gripped into panics after such massive losses.
The mostly affected areas have been identified as Padpmapur, Kadamtala, Panisagar, Tithoi.
