Tripura celebrates Hanuman Jayanti

AGARTALA, April 22 (TIWN): The Pawan-putra-hanumaan has been worshipped in Tripura’s various Hanumaan temples and shiv temples, Ram Temples, also in households.

Hanuman who was known for his Ram-Bhakti is also recognized for his power and courage and his dedication for truthfulness.

Hanuman worships Lord Rama, and there are innumerable tales and legends associated with the two in Ramayana. Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated across the country with full gusto where devotees throng the temples to seek the lord's blessings.

Lord Hanuman symbolises engery, strength and power.

His swiftness makes him fly high and even get Sanjeevani bhooti for Lord Laxmana.

Hanumaan Chalisa is read on this day and pray to the lord for good health and strength. The lord destroys all that is evil, keeping all energized----it’s a belief.

In Mata Tripura Sundari temple also there is a Shiv temple, before the shiv idol, Lord Hanumaan is placed.

It’s also believed that Lord Hanuman is to be the ultimate avatar of Lord Shiva. In this avatar, Lord Shiva had taken birth as a monkey.
 
Although, Lord Hanuman was very powerful since his childhood, but once an incident took place in his life that him extremely powerful. Because of this power only, he played a major role in ending the Raavan family in Lanka.
