AGARTALA, April 20 (TIWN): Power Dept. of Tripura, under the regime of Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has become one of the most disable departments of Tripura.

Tripura’s power which was earlier running by its hydro-plants is fully dependent upon the Plants here, where Tripura Govt. is under huge debts.

As a result, the future of Tripura’s smooth power supplying is at a risk and people here are frequently suffering from load-sheddings.

TSECL which generates power across Tripura is least bothered about the problems.

Moreover, power cut doesn’t occur here due to lack of power generation, but the loose connections in overall rural areas has become a cause behind this power cut.

According to the report in village areas, with a light wave power goes off, but if the locals inform the Power House at their places, nobody takes action immediately to repair the damaged part, which also risks the lives of common people.

Being the power Minister Manik Dey who often claims tall regarding power service in Tripura is silent over such  issues.
