AGARTALA, April 19 (TIWN): The recent alignment of CPI-M and congress towards alliance is giving tough time to the CPI-M party supporters to join their ideology with the opposition party in the state.
After the recent friendship of CPI-M and congress in the state that came to light a dedicated cadre of CPI-M since last 40 years identified as Biplab Debroy on Tuesday parted ways with the party and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at Barjala.
Biplab Debroy was a dedicated CPI-M cadre since last 40 years but it was not possible for him to adjust with the alignment of friendship between CVPI-Ma and congress keeping aside the [party ideologies.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Keshab Debnath welcomed the CPI (M) leader to BJP by handing over the BJP party flag.
It is to be mentioned here that showing disapproval over alliance issue between CPI-M and Congress, two of the CPI-M members were expelled from the party recently. Two CPI-M members of Teliamura Division committee Arabinda Lahari and Dipak Roy from CPI-M branch committee were expelled after they had shown disproval over the alliance issue.
According to the sources, two of the CPI-M candidates were suspended after they had shown disapproval in alliance issue between CPI-M and congress. It is to be mentioned here that, a politics of compulsion has pushed the CPI (M) and the Congress closer.
The growing clamour for alliance between the Congress and the CPI (M) is left in unsolved stage in Tripura after about 38 has resigned from the party. The much talked CPI-M and congress alliance somewhat remains unsolved after CPI-M has push the ball in the court of congress. It is to be mentioned here that CPI-M has given an indirect signal to the Congress on the alliance issue throwing the ball in the court of congress.
'Both CPI (M) and Congress are ideologically opposite to each other and alliance with each will do no work well for the party politics.
Biplab Debroy said the decision by him to leave the party was due to the “ideological disarray” in the CPI (M), and the growing alignment of friedship in teh state between CPI-M and Congress which is totally unacceptable.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Keshab Debnath the CPI (M) had “lost its relevance” as most of its leaders had moved away from the party’s core ideological moorings, he said. This drift had created disgruntlement among its committed workers.
“Such dis-satisfied members are looking to the BJP. The party will continue to raise issues concerning the poor and the minority people,” he said.
