AGARTALA, April 2 (TIWN) : A half completed work of Kalachara block with the estimate cost of atleast Rs. 2 crores is going to inaugurate, without giving any details of the utilization of amounts.

Reportedly, the block construction work of Kalachara was started in the year 2013, after laying the foundation stone by Social Welfare Minister Bijita Nath on 2.9.2013. The work was to be completed within 2 years.

But as the work couldn’t finish by the contractor within the dead line, so the half made building will be inaugurated. 

Moreover, under any central govt. project, for the work of RD Dept. a ‘Display-Board’ is must to hang before the construction spot. , but without any details about the allocated funds, name of the Engineer etc the work is going on, resulting huge embezzlement of funds under RD Dept.

Moreover, the half done building has started to deteriorate in many corners. Cracks are everywhere of that building.

Allegations are coming against the RD Dept. under the Principal Secretary Ayyanagar for not doing nay inspection of various works held under RD Dept.

As a result the half made building is going to inaugurate as the deadline of the construction work is getting over.

This Klachara block construction work, without any display board and no observation has been responsible for atleast Rs. 2 crore’s of embezzlement.
