Agartala, September 16 (TIWN): If every engineer works with a vision, the State can grow by leaps and bounds, said Mr. Badal Chowdhury, Finance & PWD Minister of Tripura at Agartala City Centre on September 15. Inaugurating a seminar on " Frugal Engineering - Achieving More with Fewer Resources" organised by the Institution of Engineers (India) state centre,as part of 153rd birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna awardee, M. Visvesvaraya.

He said that Indian engineers have done wonders in the field of technology and have a major role to play in the development of the nation. The minister urged the expert engineers including the upcoming engineers to develop new innovative ideas. 

Veteran engineer of Tripura MihirKanti Chakraborty was honored as best engineer of the 2013.The day  started with a massive rally and a blood donation camp was organized.
