KAMALPUR, Oct 16, (TIWN): Only hours left for the beginning of the greatest celebration of the Bengali Hindus throughout the state. For four days people would throng into pandals decorated with dazzling gadgets and arrangements for amusement. The roaming of crowd from pandal to pandal along with family, friends or beloved would add to the charm of the festivity. This prevailing scenery of crowd would also been found here at Kamalpur.
Although the Puja organizers here still remained detached from theme or huge budgets, the tune of traditional celebration still be found in the pandals along with the touch of modernity. Besides, the hurly-burly of modern day celebrated pandals some traditional religious organizations traditionally arrange their Pujas with heartfelt devotion and amity. And those Pujas virtually broke the barrier of religion during the Puja days.
Kamaleswaeri Kalibari: The famous temple of Goddess Kali, here at Kamalpur, traditionally attracts the crowd during the Puja days for more than hundred years. The serene atmosphere and complete devotion provided the crowd with deep mental calm. This year the scenario would be the same and people would throng into the temple to be the part of the celebration and to obtain the mental peace. Many people from other religions also spend their times in the temple with a belief of Oneness of Almighty, as depicted in the Upanishads and ritualistic texts.
Ramkrishna Ashram: Another den of peace, tranquillity and serene Puja atmosphere at Kamalpur, the Ramkrishna Ashram enhance the delight of the Puja days with the tune of sacrifice and service. It remained undoubted that, during the Puja days, the Ashram would be a favourite den for the crowd during days and nights.
These Pujas surely add a different charm to the celebration here at Kamalpur and it remained a part of tradition here.
