KAMALPUR, Oct 12, (TIWN): In the so-called ‘golden regime’ of Manik Sarkar everything demanded to be attained a high altitude of success. And this success turned our small state an instance in the country. But such demands of rulers and party leaders seemed befooling when a High School adjacent to Kamalpur-Ambassa road seriously lacked an entrance. And this happened after almost one year of digging a pool to build a culvert which destroyed the earlier available road for the sake of development. And when a school in the proper area suffered such situation then the fate of other schools could be imagined easily.
According to the students, the School authority and the locale, almost six months ago during the closing of 2014-2015 fiscal, the Salema R. D. Block authority decided to construct a culvert near the school to make plying smooth. For this a gully which was used to pass waters from fields to a narrow stream of water made widened and deep enough six months ago. It resulted in complete destruction of road to the school. Only bicycles could pass the place by the side over the fields and it’s too after much effort. But during last six months the Block authority could not able to even start work of culvert. Hence the students, teachers and the locales had to ply on the road with much difficulty. Further possibility of any serious accident always remained there. But when the Block authority could shed off their negligence and construct the culvert remained the question of the hour. What a ‘golden regime’ and ‘dynamic administration’!
