AGARTALA, Oct 5 (TIWN): Although CPI-M on Friday had condemned over the mafia-raj prevailing at West Bengal, under the regime of CM Mamata Banarjee, but what is going on in Tripura has once again come out when 2 goons under the day light had attacked on a youth and left him critically injured. Police force, which has badly failed to safe-guard the people, once again has lost the trust of people with this incident. The victim has been identified as Ashim Sarkar; he is presently admitted in GB hospital.

According to the reports 2 mischievous at Chandrapur area have injured a young boy critically at College Tilla area by striking him with beer bottles. The victim Asim Sarkar went to the lake at College Tilla to take baths.  Suddenly few mischievous came by a bike in drunken condition. Both of them were wearing full helmets and they called Ashim to them.

But when hesitated Ashim declined to go to them, then the 2 bike riders attacked upon him with beer bottles and hit him upon his head. As a result Ashim became critically injured and fainted.

The locals getting informed thronged to the place, but then already 2 culprits have escaped. However, the local people took him to the GB hospital and admitted him there. But according to the doctor’s report his condition is very critical.

But police is totally clueless about the miscreants and still has failed to identify who were involved in this task. However, it’s to be mentioned here that whether CPI-M ruled govt. claimed WB govt. for continuing mafia raj over there, but in actual the scenario of Tripura is not at all different.

It’s to be mentioned here that Agartala city is becoming the centre for goons, where due to police’s numbness anybody can do any crime here. Data shows that police here has failed to provide minimum safety to people and as a result everyday unidentified bodies recovering, bank-robberies, murders and attacks have become  common issues.

On Friday CPI-M members held a protest rally at Agartala city against the police-force of West Bengal Govt. under the regime of the Trinamool Congress CM Mamata Banerjee.

The rally was organized by the ruling government which moved voiced slogans against the misrule of the West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and moved across the whole City. In this regard, MP Sankar Prasad Datta, said that the Police atrocities on the leaders was ‘shameful’ and the party strongly condemned this attack. This attack by the police was totally shameful. But Ministers should look back to their own state Tripura also, where police is doing silent role and grabbing the public money as per months.
