AGARTALA, Oct 3 (TIWN): Although the work of BG conversion is progessing rapidly by Central Govt, Railway Authorities, which shows that if the work progress like this pace, the BG conversion may be completed within stipulated months, but Tripura govt. which by its nature prefer to go slow towards development, allergic with fast development is sticking to the point that the work will only be completed at March, 2016 only.

However talking to the railway officials they said, within 4 days the work has been progessed to such an extent, so possibility remains that the work may be completed before the given time.Talking to the contractors undertaking the work, they mentioned that within the month of November 2015, the work will be completed, (if) they get the order for work.

Thus it seems that people of Tripura are so much eager to see the BG connection over here in the state, but it is govt. who is intentionally delaying the task.In the last meeting with Central Railway minister, Manik Dey also mentioned that the work will be completed after Feb. 2016. However, may be it’s left front govt.’s policy to delay a work as far as possible, so that funds may not stop to come from centre. While Minister Manik Dey during his last visit was busy with air-way connectivity, he tried to talk less, regarding BG conversion.

However, it’s the ruling govt.’s intentional plan to withdraw the focus from the point of main issue, especially those works which are doing by state govt. Tripura has no proper transport conncetivity till 66 years of its join with India. But govt. has no concern about this.

National Highway which has become a paddy-field is left the only option, but the National High way is closed now. So question arises, what kind of sate is this which has no proper connection with other states also and Tripura CM here announce that it prevails a Golden-era.

It’s so far true that more than the Govt.; people and workers here more interested to upgrade the state because whether contractors are ready to finish the work within November, the state govt. is not agree to release the centre’s fund so easily and thus slow policy of Manik ruling govt. is going on so well in Tripura.
