UDAIPUR, July 9 (TIWN): In a tragic incident, road mishap claimed one life on Thursday afternoon at kakrabon-Jamjari area under Gomati district.

The deceased is identified as Amio Debnath (27) resident of Gangachora Baidyapara.

The accident took place when Amio Debnath was heading towards Jamjari weekly market in his bike bearing number TR03E5913 and headed on collision with Maruti van bearing number TR03C0389 at Jamjari forest drop gate area.

Talking to the eye-witness police have discovered that due to reckless driving by maruti van driver on his part has hit the bike while trying to over take another vehicle from the opposite direction and had lead to this massive accident.

The accident occurred due to rash and negligent driving on the part of the driver of the marurti van vehicle informed the eye-witnesses. 

As a result, Amio Debnath, a resident of Gangachora Baidyapara area under kakrobon police station received grievous injuries in his body.

Getting alarm the localites reached to the spot and with the help of the Maruti van driver rushed Amio Debnath to Gomoti District hospital for instant treatment.

However, the eye-witness informed the incident to the kakrabon police station. By the time police had reached the hospital but the driver managed to flee from the hospital with his maruti van.

Within few minutes of providing treatment to the injured Amio Debnath he breathed his last in the hospital bed.

Although as a part of humanity the driver has managed to rush the injured to the hospital but unfortunately Amio was pulled to death due to severe injuries in his body.  

A pall of gloom descended over the family members of the deceased with this painful incident.

However, after primary investigation the body will be handed over to the family members of the deceased and police is further investigating the case.
