Agartala, Sep 4 (TIWN): After the massive loss in the last Assembly Election, Congress party in Tripura is now in ‘search’ of issues which can turn up to movements. Pradesh Congress announced a statewide gathering in all the 60 Constituencies of the state.

The movement would be kicked off from September 13 on 12-point demands including introduction of food security in the state. PCC working President Ashish Kumar Saha said that the party would continue to struggle on these demands until the state government concedes to the demands.

Demands include  voice for introduction of food security bill in Tripura, empowerment and direct funding to the ADC, supply of kerosene oil and sugar through ration shops, special audit by AG over implementation of all central welfare schemes, security for depositors and agents of chit fund companies.
