AGARTALA, Feb 16 (TIWN): ADC’s ruling party Tipra Motha organized a mass gathering event in Fatikroy, ahead of the upcoming ADC poll — urging voters to support Tipra Motha party for ADC’s development. The rally was mainly organized thanking Tipra Motha Supremo for fighting in Supreme Court to conduct VC elections --- on the ground that Supreme Court asked for completion of the VC election alongwith ADC election.

Speaking at the event, the Tipra Motha leaders mentioned that due to lack of funding in the ADC as it comes through the state government, the ADC administration is facing severe challenges in various works – ultimately victimizing the common men.

They asked the BJP why after ruling over eight years the situation of ADC remained like this.

The party called for the 125th Amendment Bill’s implementation for direct funding to ADC from the central government but it won’t happen unless Tipra Motha stays in power and can pressurize the government to do so.
