AGARTALA, Jan 14 (TIWN): An SPO Rinku Das and her husband Badhan Deb have been arrested by police in charge of defrauding Rs. 8.25 Lakhs with a job seeker.

A complaint was lodged at East Agartala police station by Santu Deb, who was allegedly promised by the husband-wife duo to give a police job.

But after consuming the money, they could not arrange any job for him and forced him to lodge a case.

Police have arrested both under the case no-01/2026. Both were produced before the court, before taking them into police custody.
