AGARTALA, Dec 27 (TIWN): Even 60 degree Fahrenheit is too much for the tropical regions like many Indian states and that’s why December is uncomfortable for the people there.

On Saturday, people were seen in various corners of Agartala streets lighting up woods, paper to get warmth from the fire.

This scenario is mostly visible in morning and after evening hours.

“The chilling wind is hitting all the time. That’s why to get comfort from the weather, we have sat here to warm up,” said an elderly man who participated in the gathering.

The temperature in Agartala is 65 degrees Fahrenheit in the daytime.
