AGARTALA, May 15 (TIWN): A young housewife Anamika Acharjee’s blood clotted, dead body was recovered from a flat in Durga Chowmuhani area.

The incident happened on Thursday when her husband Rahul Bhattacharjee, as he claimed, was not at home.

The dead body, which was shown to media, was in critical condition. Her tongue came out of mouth, and a severe injury mark was on her head.

She was declared dead when brought to the hospital.

Housewife found dead inside flat at Durga Chowmuhani, Agartala. The body was sent for post-mortem.

“Some people said the flat door was locked, and some said later, it was found open. I have no idea what happened exactly,” said Rahul, who claimed that he left for Belonia on the bike today morning.

Rahul Bhattacharjee told media that they had a good time together since she returned from Kolkata after appearing in her B.Ed exam. However, she suffered due to allergy yesterday night but recovered in the morning.

“We can not comment without post post-mortem report. There is no other option rather than post mortem report to know what exactly happened with her,” said the on-duty Doctor at GB hospital.
