AGARTALA, March 13 (TIWN): GB Hospital Orthopedic Department Thursday informed media the department is successfully conducting plenty of surgeries and providing quality services. In the press meeting attended by various doctors from the department said that 21 such operations were done in the last year whereas eight knee operations went successfully.

The doctors informed earlier, that people tended to go outside the state for such operations but now from neighboring states and neighboring countries, patients have been coming to the hospital and received positive outcomes.

From the Orthopedic department, Dr. Santosh Reang, Dr. Pulak Saha, Dr. Aninda Debnath. Dr. Abhijit Sarkar, Dr. Sujit Roy, Dr. Bikash Debbarma, and Biomedical Engineer Ratu Dey attended the press conference.
