AGARTALA, March 9 (TIWN): BJP top leaders have been provided unalike data on government job creations, which has enabled the opposition parties to label the BJP leadership dishonest. BJP celebrated two years of its governance under Dr. Manik Saha on Sunday and Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha stated 16,451 government jobs were given in last seven years. His data however varied from former Chief Minister Biplab Deb and a few other leaders’ data. Reacting to the multiple data delivered by BJP leaders at various points of time, Congress asked, whose data is ultimately correct ?

Addressing media at Post Office Chowmuhani Congress Bhawan,  Youth Congress leader Shah Jahan Islam said, “How many jobs exactly were provided under BJP regime ? In 2020, December, Tripura the then Chief Minister Biplab Deb claimed that 23,001 persons got government job offers. After three months, in 2021, March, the then Education Minister and current Agriculture Minister Ratan Lal Nath said at the Secretariat that 7001 got government jobs.”

“Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said 16,000 government jobs were provided under the BJP government. I want to ask, whom to believe. Should we trust in Ex-CM Biplab Deb’s given data or Minister Ratan Lal Nath’s data? Or should we believe in CM Dr. Manik Saha’s data?” said Islam.

The Youth Congress leader also raised the question what happened to BJP’s missed-call-job promises?

"What happened to you Missed-Call-Jobs ?" Congress lashed out at BJP Govt on BJP's second anniversary day.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on the two-year completion celebration of BJP Government under his tenure, stated that the government could provide 16,451 government jobs in the last 7 years.

“Our government is prioritizing unemployed youths’ work opportunities. Since 2018, a total 16,451 government jobs have been provided. In outsourcing 5771 jobs were given, 2937 security guard jobs were provided in both government and private sectors, 6017 jobs were given by employment generation TIDC, under MSME over 2 lakhs of entrepreneurs were created in Tripura,” Dr. Saha told the crowd.
