AGARTALA, March 8 (TIWN): Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on the two-year completion celebration of BJP Government under his tenure, stated that the government could provide 16,451 government jobs in the last 7 years. The statement, however, contradicts, BJP’s promise to provide 50,000 government jobs in 2018-19, within one year of BJP government formation. The Chief Minister was addressing Astabal stadium on the occasion of BJP’s two-year celebration under his chief ministry. The program was attended by BJP National President J.P.Nadda.
“Our government is prioritizing unemployed youths’ work opportunities. Since 2018, a total 16,451 government jobs have been provided. In outsourcing 5771 jobs were given, 2937 security guard jobs were provided in both government and private sectors, 6017 jobs were given by employment generation TIDC, under MSME over 2 lakhs of entrepreneurs were created in Tripura,” Dr. Saha told the crowd.

Dr. Saha also mentioned, that under the BJP’s regime, people’s earnings have doubled.
“We have launched a complete free education for girls up to college,” added Dr. Saha.
Addressing the gathering, BJP National President J.P.Nadda stated, that under Narendra Modi’s leadership lotus is blooming across India from UP to Haryana.
Nadda told the party members, who attended the gathering at Astabal, “Bad times shouldn’t be forgotten in good times. So during the Achee Din, nobody should forget about the bad time during the communist regime. Because if we indulge too much in celebration of Achee Don, then bad days would return consequently.”
