AGARTALA, March 2 (TIWN): As part of the government fund’s utilization, Tripura is setting up the dais to launch a mega celebration at Rabindra Bhawan on March 9, marking the two years of BJP Govt formation under Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha. Talking to media the Chief Minister on Sunday signaled that from center also heavyweight leaders are expected to visit the state to mark the occasion.
Another separate program will be organized by the state BJP party, which will be considered as party-level function.
“Today is 2nd March. It’s the day when the election result was declared and BJP swept the poll. It’s a nostalgic thing for us,” said Saha.
“Many people said many things about our winning possibility as Left and Congress had aligned. But people could not accept their alliance resulted in our victory. We are now the representatives of the people. I would be always thankful to the voters as they are the Janardan,” said Dr. Saha.
Saha mentioned it’s not yet decided the venue for the party-level celebration but wherever it will happen, a massive gathering of BJP supporters is expected.
