AGARTALA, Aug 25 (TIWN): Thieves activated their mission to loot public and private assets taking the opportunity of flood situations.

From iron bridge materials to bikes, thieves looted various properties, and huge numbers of complaints were lodged.

Based on secret information, police arrested two persons from Sadhu Tila area. After interrogating them, two more persons were arrested totaling four persons.

Police could recovered bikes and vehicles from these thieves. Interrogation is underway to dig more information from the arrested accused persons.

Sadar SDPO-Debaprasad Roy told media that four of them would be produced before the court seeking police remand.
