AGARTALA, July 13 (TIWN): Tripura Panchayat Poll candidate Badal Shil, who is also one of the terminated 10323 teacher has been killed in an attack by BJP workers. Former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar visited GB hospital where Badal Shil’s family members were seen screaming, mourning over his unexpected death. Badal Shil was in coma since yesterday and admitted to GB hospital. He could not survive and succumbed to his injuries today.

Opposition leader Jitendra Chowdhury said when the CPI-M candidates were going to block office for nomination submission in Rajnagar, Belonia the BJP workers in group attacked the CPI-M party supporters. 

Footage shows that in front of police, the BJP workers blocked the office and attacking the opposition workers.

But Badal Shil submitted nominations and went home. Later, the BJP miscreants allegedly entered his home and injured him critically causing his death.

Similar attacks took place in other parts of the state. But police could not arrest anyone in these cases.
