AGARTALA, July 12 (TIWN): Bharat Ratna Club secretary murder case’s mastermind Raju Barman who was arrested in Guwahati, was brought to Agartala amid tight security yesterday. He was produced before the court today seeking 10 days police remand.

Court granted 8 days’ police remand.

Local people gathered at the court premise seeking death penalty for Raju Barman.

NCC Police arrested many of the accused persons in Vicky murder case, and during the investigation, Raju Barman’s name came out as the prime accused.

Vicky was murdered on April 31st evening at around 8 O’Clock. He was shot dead. 

The murder happened centering the government project’s tender distributions.

Recently, the Tripura Government ordered Bharat Ratna Club’s building demolition which is located in Usha Baar.
