AGARTALA, June 30 (TIWN): Nothing comes for free and taking a loan is “major” decision but poor people without even understanding the gravity of the outcomes take loans and then they lose their properties after being unable to give the interest amount.
Taking the opportunity of people’s innocence sometimes companies target the clients selectively and such an incident happened in Belonia after a micro-finance company locked a poor man’s house after the houseowner could not clear the debt. However, administrative strict action saved the family for now.
Vedika Credit Capital Limited, Belonia Branch employees locked Ranjit Rudra Pal’s home after he could not clear only one month’s debt. The incident happened at Chittamara’s Nath Para.
Out of shame, the victim could not tell anything to anyone and spent whole day on the courtyard. The family could not eat anything and their children could not study because of that. Later getting information administration asked for police’s help and unlocked the home.
Then the police locked Vedika Credit capital limited office.
DCM Sanjoy Shil old media that a notice will be sent to the credit company in this regard.
