Agartala, 29 Aug, (TIWN) Newly built three storied market shed adjacent to Maharani Tuilshibati (MTB) Girls School will be inaugurated on Friday. All the shopkeepers of MTB market will now run their business where book sellers of Indira Market will also be shifted in this multi storied market building namely, ‘Ujjayanta Market’, AMC sources informed said.

About 102 numbers of stalls are yet to be distributed in this market while about 84/85 stalls had already been distributed among the businessmen so far. Apart from this, Lions Club, Pensioners Association, TCS Officers Association and the office of the State Engineers Association will also be there, official sources said.

The market would be inaugurated by the Chief Minister Manik Sarkar.It is mentionable here that in the month of June in the year 2011 the construction work of this market shed  started with over 3000 square metre area while the project cost was estimated at Rs.14 crore.
