Regional Power meeting on next week
Agartala, 29 Aug, (TIWN) Power ministers and officials of the Northeast will meet in the first week of September to devise ways and means to expedite the commissioning of pending projects in the region.
Two-day long meeting of the North Eastern Regional Power Committee (NERPC), comprising power ministers and officials of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura will be held at Agartala on September 4 and 5 next.
State Power minister Manik Dey, who is the Chairman of the NERPC, said some specific decisions may be taken in the meeting to complete the under construction power projects in the region in their re-scheduled time frame.
