AGARTALA, June 7 (TIWN): Last Monday, a woman was supposed to go to Camp Bazar by auto from Baradowali Chowdhury Mill, but the auto driver took her to the TV tower instead of taking her to Camp Bazar. The woman got scared and asked the auto driver to stop the auto but the driver allegedly didn’t stop his auto, when the auto slowed down the woman jumped out of the auto. Later the auto driver turned his auto and asked the woman to get in the auto, the male passenger in the auto too started calling her to get in the auto.

Then other auto drivers in that area noticing this and asked the woman to file a case at AD Nagar PS, the woman came to the PS and filed a case against the auto driver.

The victim woman before the media, stated that the accused auto driver Gaur Chand Debnath and the other male passengers had an intention to rape her.

Such incidents in broad daylight erupted fear among the passengers.
