AGARTALA, May 15 (TIWN): Women group conducted raid in East Gokulnagar area under Bishalgarh PS due against drugs and contraband items.

It is alleged that gambling racket to alcohol consumption, Brown Sugar selling and consumption is going on in that area with full-fledged and due to gambling rackets and overuse of drugs in the area most of the families are suffering.

It is alleged that the local men after consuming contraband items often generates chaos in their families and the young generations too are being destroyed.

On Monday morning, the women gang seeing no way has led a raid in the area. In front of the police of Bishalgarh PS, the women jointly led the raid.

The women before the media stated that the Police are not taking action accordingly and seeing no way the women took such an initiative.
