The attack took place at the house of Congress leader Manshi Malakar on Surbhi Ashram Road, Ward No. 2, Dharmanagar.

Manshi Malakar said a Max car came in front of her house. There were about 10 people in the car and all wearing sun glasses and towels on their heads. Seeing them, Manshi came inside the house.

Then leaving four people to prevent any kind of obstacle, the rest of the hooligans broke the boundary of the house and threw stones inside the house.

In such a situation, Manshi reported to Dharmanagar police station but before the police force came to the spot, the miscreants left the place.

On hearing about the incident, local Congress leader Chayan Bhattacharya rushed to her home. The Congress leader has condemned the rising crimes against opposition workers.
