AGARTALA, May 12 (TIWN): On the occasion of International Nursing Day, Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha told nurses of the state to keep patience and to follow Florence Nightingale to keep a big heart and kindness like her.
CM was addressing at Cancer Hospital when he said so.
“We understand that due to personal issues, sometimes nurses also get patience-less but you have to keep your heart big because you are in this noble profession. A Doctor in OT without nurses can not do anything. Without nurses, medical service will be impossible. So play your role with full dedication”, CM told Nurses.
“Moreover, it’s a cancer hospital. You can understand what kind of patience come here. They are mentally also so broken. Talk to them with kindness. Sometimes, talks may relief half of the pains of a patient. Take motivation from Florence Nightingale who continued her service during wars, and we think, her role was not only challenging but unthinkable”, said CM.
