KAILASHAHAR, May 10 (TIWN): Laxman Urang, who lost his parents when he was an infant, now working as a labour to beat the expenditure for his Education.
He lives with his Nani (Grandmother) at Ward No. 4 of Deorachra Village, Chandipur Assembly Constituency of Kailashahar.
Laxman was born on 1st January 2010. His father Rajesh Urang and mother Bandhini Urang both area no more in this world.
When Laxman was only 7 or 8 months old, his mother died and Laxman’s father could not take the incident and committed suicide.
Since then Laxman has been staying with his grandmother.
The 14 years old boy is currently an eighth standard student at Kalachara School in Deorachara ADC Village under Chandipur Assembly. Often he goes to school without eating anything as his aim is only to study well and establish in life.
His grandmother anyhow manages two times meals but she is now very old which has led Laxman to work outside sometimes. Laxman is a meritorious student but right now, he is unable to bear the expenditure of his Education. He is left without any money even to purchase copies for him. Next year, he will be in Class-9 but clueless how he would continue his Education.
His grandmother does not get even social pension.
Talking to TIWN, Laxman said, if Govt or even a social organization extends a helping hands, it would be much helpful.
His school headmaster also has appealed to the Govt to help this talented boy so that he can continue his Education.
