AGARTALA, May 8 (TIWN): Even though after meeting the Chief Minister Manik Saha, Tipra Motha chief Pradyot Manikya on Sunday night claimed that he had a deep discussion about ADC issues with the CM, but on being asked, CM Manik Saha said on Monday, yesterday it was just a formal meeting with the regional party supremo and nothing came out from the meeting that needs to be highlighted. “Many times, there were meetings just like we meet with other dignitaries. Yesterday, there was a normal conversation which is done on a regular basis. Nothing was so extraordinary that should be highlighted”, said CM to the media.

When the media asked him about interlocutor issues, CM said, “I heard about the interlocutor matter but I was not informed about it from anywhere. If it happens, people will come to know”.

Replying to another media query about whether the ‘direct funding’ issue was raised or not, CM said, “It’s a high-level talk and no such talk was held with him”. Manik Saha signaled that such serious conversations were not done or if done, it can be done by Central Govt only and not by him alone.
