AGARTALA, May 8 (TIWN): World Red Cross Day was observed by World Red Cross Society on Monday in Agartala.

AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder, BJP State President Rajib Bhattacharjee were present on that occasion.

The Red Cross Day or Red Crescent Day is observed every year on May 8.

The Red Cross is a global humanitarian network which operates in all countries. The organisation aims to improve the well-being of individuals and communities in need and their efforts have positively impacted many lives.
